Some releases screw up you graphic settings, some degrade performance for certain titles, some cause weird graphical glitches, some won't detect your graphics card hardware, and some simply fail to update or install. Regardless what anyone tells you to this day there is still issues with some driver releases from either vendor. But even then ~$170 is still a good amount of money (for myself at least), and it still doesn't solve the whole plug n play thing that consoles do well.Īlso there is the problem with drivers. A gtx 1050ti, ~$170 USD, will get you a very enjoying experience at 1080p. You really don't need that $600 graphics card to play games and still have "good" visuals. ![]() another part of the problem is the spread of misinformation.
